Members Helping Members (MHM)
MHM is a Temple Beth Am initiative whose sole purpose is to facilitate useful connections within the 1000+ members of our community. Given the sheer size of our community, very few of us know much about each other yet many of us would be surprised to learn that we each possess friendships/connections/skills/information that may be of tremendous value to others. MHM makes it easy to match members seeking something specific with others who may be in a position to help in some shape or form. MHM seeks to enable these connections through online efforts such as this website, and through targeted group and one-on-one programming.
Listed below are various categories of ways to help others or ask for help. If you would like to make a submission, please click on the form links below. We will update the listing below on a periodic basis.
"I am Looking for a Job":
If you are looking for a job, please let us know the field(s) in which you are interested, along with a brief description of your background. Once you have submitted your posting, a member of the MHM team will review it and post it within one week barring any follow-up questions or concerns. Note that only TBA members may post and note that all posting decisions are made at the discretion of the MHM team. Your posting may be viewed by anyone with access to the website. Please note that postings will be removed after 30 days at which time you will need to resubmit a posting if you wish to continue.

"I Own My Business and Want to Let Others Know What I do":
If you own your own business or possess a commercial trade/skill that you would like others within our community to be aware of and perhaps contact you about, please complete this form to be listed within our Member Services Directory at no charge. Once you have submitted your posting, a member of the MHM team will review it and post it within one week barring any follow-up questions or concerns. Note that only TBA members may post and that all posting decisions are made at the discretion of the MHM team. Your posting may be viewed by anyone with access to the website. Please note that postings in this category will be removed after 90 days at which time you will need to renew your posting if you wish to keep it on the website.

"I am Seeking Advice and/or Business/Professional Connections": If you are seeking advice on or connections for something specific, you can share that request with the community who may be able to help you. Examples include: "I am looking to meet with someone who has done business locally in China" or "I am looking to meet with an attorney with experience in patents/trademarks." Please be as specific as possible in your posting, which will be viewable to anyone with access to the website. Please Note: If you would like to reach the community with other sorts of ads, please remember that the TBA Weekly Shabbat Bulletin E-mail has a Community Ads section. Please send your e-mails to Tamar Knoller at tknoller@tbala.org with "shabbat bulletin community ad" in the subject line. Ads must be short, text-only and must be resubmitted each week if you wish it to continue to run.
