Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present, and Embrace the Future
“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” Soren Kierkegaard
At Temple Beth Am and Pressman Academy we honor the past, embrace the future, and most importantly, we celebrate the present.
This year at Temple Beth Am we will continue to examine ways to make synagogue life relevant in the 21st Century, our Jewish Learning Community will engage our youth in meaningful Jewish experiences; Pressman Academy will reach new levels of academic achievement as we develop more mensches. Our entire community will utilize technological advances as we continue to enhance our data systems and utilize the new Makers Space. We will launch new, innovative and forward-thinking programs that will resonate with community members of all ages, while we continue successful programs of the past. There is much to celebrate this year at TBA and Pressman.
Our past is rich, our future is bright, and we must succeed in the present to maintain and advance Beth Am and Pressman Academy’s vibrancy. The vision of our Senior Staff will lay the foundation for our continued growth. Our Campus Expansion and Renovation Project will create space for the enhancement of Jewish Life and Community in the 21st Century. The growth of our endowment will guarantee financial sustainability for our community. We are positioned to remain a pillar of the Los Angeles Jewish Community for generations to come.
We hope you will join us as we honor the past, embrace the future and celebrate the present by making a gift to support our community.
