Neshama Project
The Neshama Project at Pressman Academy
At Pressman Academy, we believe that prayer is more than words – it’s the heartbeat of our spiritual community, the bridge between generations, and a living connection to our heritage. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the Neshama (Soul) Project, a prayer initiative capturing the soulful voices of our young students in recorded prayer.
“Within the sanctuary’s sacred space transformed into a recording studio, we’ve witnessed something extraordinary: our students discovering joy in tradition, finding strength and love in unity, and experiencing the profound power of communal prayer. Learning each T’fillah has been more than just a technical achievement – it’s been a celebration of our children’s spirits, their blossoming confidence, and their deepening bond to their Jewish identity. So when you seek hope and inspiration, return to listen to the voices of your children. This is their precious gift for each of you, for Jews everywhere – to remind us that voices coming together in harmony, have the power to change the world for the better.”

“As our children’s voices rise in sacred song, we invite them to let their artistic creativity soar as well! Through brush strokes and colors, our young Jewish artists express what these ancient prayers mean to their hearts – their joy, their wonder, and their connection to tradition. Each class’s artwork, along with their recordings, creates a beautiful tapestry of sight and sound that captures how our students experience prayer. This project celebrates not just individual creativity, but the way our community comes together – through song, through art, and through shared spiritual moments. We are thrilled to see how your children’s artistic spirits bring these prayers to life!”
