Pressman Academy’s Parent & Me classes for babies and toddlers engage participants in multi-sensory experiences as they explore Shabbat, music and art. Both parents and children become members of a community as they play together and interact in formal and informal discussions.
Shabbat Together
Bring the beauty of Shabbat into your child’s week. In this parent-and-me class, toddlers (ages 1+) and their grown-ups will experience the joy and meaning of Shabbat through song, ritual, and creative play. Each gathering includes candle lighting, Kiddush, and challah, woven together with music, movement, and art to engage little hearts and minds. Shabbat Together is a gentle introduction to the traditions of Shabbat, fostering connection to Jewish life, family, and community.
