Hugim

The after-school program at Pressman Academy is built around encouraging our young students to expand their knowledge base apart from traditional textbook studies through the Hugim program. Structured physical and mental exercises provide children with opportunities to learn new skills and increase their social interactions with peers while expanding self-confidence. Whether it is exploring the fine arts, planned physical activities, coding, playing chess, cooking, learning about music or a new instrument, there is something for each child to experience and expand their learning potential, while giving each child the opportunity to shine. Additionally, the research on participation in after-school activities is clear: children who participate in after-school programs do better in school and are less likely to be affected by negative pressures while growing up.

ECC After Care Kids Club

Kids Club is a supervised five-day per week program which includes outdoor play, indoor activities, and a snack. ECC and Gesher students will meet in the sandbox at the end of each school day. After playtime, children will go to a designated classroom in the school building for indoor activities. Parents need to pick up their child(ren) from the classroom or in the parking garage between 5:15pm and 5:30pm. On Fridays, pick up is to be done no later than 4:00pm.

Elementary School Homework Club

Homework Club is a supervised program which includes outdoor play, indoor activities, homework time and a snack. At the end of each school day, students will be gathered and sent for outdoor playtime, under the supervision of Homework Club Director. After playtime, student will go to a designated classroom in the school building for indoor activities and/or supervised homework time. At the end of the program, all parents will need to pick up their child/(ren) from the classroom or in the parking garage between 5:15pm and 5:30pm. On Fridays, pick up is in the parking garage no later than 4:00pm.
